The new Capacity Regulation (EU) 2026/1184, which entered into force on 11 June 2026, represents a major step towards a more integrated and efficient European railway system. Over the coming years, it will introduce significant changes to infrastructure capacity planning, allocation and management, impacting railway undertakings, infrastructure managers and freight customers across Europe.

To help stakeholders understand these upcoming changes, the RAG Speakers of the European Rail Freight Corridors, with the support of Forum Train Europe (FTE), are organising the webinar “Capacity Regulation – What will change for Rail Freight?”

The sessions will provide an overview of the expected operational, planning and financial impacts of the new regulatory framework and explain how railway undertakings and other stakeholders can contribute to shaping the future implementation rules.
